Privacy Policy

What Academy collects

We collect the information needed to run the LMS: account and profile details; enrollment and payment-status identifiers; lesson progress; quiz, worksheet, role-play, and assessment activity; private coaching content you choose to submit; direct credential visibility choices; support messages; and essential authentication, security, and service logs.

Academy is not the OVO Talent CRM. Do not submit live prospect, creator, brand, contract, campaign, banking, payout, or other confidential workplace records into lessons, worksheets, support messages, or AI tools.

How we use it

• Authenticate learners and deliver course access.
• Track learning progress, submissions, feedback, and certification.
• Provide AI-assisted coaching, practice, and assessment.
• Respond to private learner support requests.
• Protect accounts, prevent abuse, and maintain LMS reliability.
• Understand aggregate curriculum engagement and improve the course.
• Maintain purchase and compliance records when legally required.

Direct public credentials

TAP, CTAP, and legacy credential evidence pages are private by default. A learner must choose to publish one, and only someone with its direct URL can discover it through Academy. A public page shows an administrator-verified name frozen at issuance, credential type, issue date, identifier, status, and the role-specific earning standard. For Board credentials, Academy also stores and displays the exact public Board identifier, proof-bound Registry URL, expiration, and issuer name. It does not publish the underlying threshold receipt, calls, creators, contracts, notes, or client records. Academy has no browsable learner or graduate directory. Learners can unpublish any credential from their Academy account, including after a field verification is revoked.

The National Talent Board independently controls TAP and CTAP issuance. New credentials use its proof-bound Board Registry; legacy CTD credentials may retain Accredible provenance. Visiting those services is subject to their own privacy practices. Academy does not send a learner's LinkedIn credentials or control their LinkedIn account.

Service providers

We use providers only for services needed to operate Academy:

• Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage)
• OVO Mac Studio AI bridge (subscription-based coaching, practice, and assessment processing)
• Cloudflare Stream (lesson-video delivery)
• Resend (transactional Academy email)
• Vercel (application hosting and essential service logs)
• Whop and supported legacy payment providers (enrollment checkout and payment status)

We do not sell personal data or share it with third-party advertisers. Payment providers process payment details under their own policies; Academy stores payment and enrollment status, not full card or bank credentials.

AI features

Content submitted to Coach AI, role-play, objection practice, or assessment is sent through OVO's authenticated Mac Studio bridge to its configured subscription model to generate a response or evaluation. Use fictional or de-identified facts. Do not include sensitive personal information or confidential client and workplace data.

Cookies and security

We use essential cookies and similar storage for sign-in, session continuity, preferences, abuse prevention, and security. Academy does not use advertising cookies. Reasonable service and security logs may include timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, request paths, and error context.

Your choices and requests

You may update your learner profile and credential visibility in Academy. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by emailing hello@ovotalent.com. Some purchase, security, and audit records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes. We will explain any limitation that applies to a request.
